This bespoke walk-in wardrobe in a house in Strassen, Luxembourg, is a fine example of the possibilities, aesthetic choices and careful planning that led to this result, which has delighted our clients. In this attic, the imposing roof means that the height from the floor to the roof ridge reaches over 3 metres! Three dormer windows provide plenty of natural light, which we wanted to maximise as much as possible. BeHome Interiors Luxembourg skilfully worked with the existing architecture to create an original layout featuring a variety of furniture, whilst achieving a harmonious overall look.
A cosy bedroom in Strassen
In this predominantly white setting, with its light wood-coloured laminate flooring, the splash of fjord blue enhances the room’s style and creates a subtle harmony of colour. Purity, simplicity and ergonomics were the guiding principles behind this project. As a result, this spacious bedroom is not overcrowded with furniture. The light-coloured fronts of the walk-in wardrobe, drawers and cupboards blend into the décor, allowing the splashes of colour from the open shelves to brighten up the space without overwhelming it.

Walk-in wardrobes and corner solutions
Sloping walls in a bedroom can sometimes be off-putting when buying a property, as it feels as though you’re losing floor space and you imagine having to hunch over… However, with a bit of ingenuity and expertise, bespoke furniture is the solution to put all these fears to rest. By fully understanding the constraints of this room, the interior designer at BeHome Interiors Luxembourg has created a walk-in wardrobe featuring sharp angles and straight lines that complement one another.
Gently sloping furniture
This bespoke walk-in wardrobe features numerous handle-free doors, giving it a very understated and almost invisible appearance. The idea of incorporating a few open columns with shelving in fjord blue lends this space under the eaves a sense of depth and a very chic style.
Well-arranged furniture
Two elegant, right-angled low units provide a generous amount of additional storage space. One runs along the wall facing outwards, featuring a white and fjord-blue colour scheme. The other, positioned as such, creates a clear division between the bedroom and the walk-in wardrobe. This creates a lovely sense of space in this large room.
Oh! A bookcase…
A clever design idea, which went down very well with our clients, reveals a space dedicated to books and decorative items at the back of the perpendicular unit. A built-in back panel separates the storage/wardrobe area from this elegant bookcase. The true art of bespoke design lies in its ability to surprise in a thousand different ways.
