This bespoke entrance hall cupboard was created as part of a comprehensive refurbishment project. The owners of this large, newly renovated house in Luxembourg City wanted to replace all their ageing furniture with pieces that were better designed, elegant and offered plenty of storage space. The generous space in this entrance hall allowed us to propose this original piece of furniture, designed to serve as a cloakroom for visitors.

An elegantly furnished entrance hall
A magnificent staircase made of dark wood extends from the entrance hall. To create a sense of harmony, it was quickly decided to make the hall unit in a very similar shade. The main recess will be finished in chocolate-coloured oak veneer, whilst the cupboard and drawer fronts will be in matt white ‘Soft Touch’ melamine, creating an elegant contrast.
A hall unit with plenty of depth
The design of a hallway should be both pleasant and practical. That doesn’t mean you can’t include a piece of furniture that looks stylish. For this project, the idea of a deep recess invites you to linger for a few moments, or even to spend some time reading there as if in a bubble, such is its comfort.
Style and practicality
The furniture in this hallway exudes understated elegance thanks to its stylish contrast and clean lines. Small niches provide space for a few decorative items. Several removable, built-in coat hooks, with a modern design, serve as a coat rack. A built-in LED strip provides warm, soft lighting, ensuring a pleasant start to the day.
Cupboards and drawers
The matt white fronts of this bespoke unit require no handles thanks to the simple and practical push-to-open mechanism. At the top, there are two cupboards offering plenty of storage space. At floor level, there are four drawers providing ample space for storing all sorts of items.
