In this house, situated not far from Luxembourg, extensive renovation work has been carried out. Our clients seized this opportunity to ‘dare to go bespoke’, in the sense that, until now, they had always made do with ready-made furniture which, over the years, had become mismatched or even worn. With a great need for storage space, these music lovers commissioned us to come up with ideas for functional and stylish furniture for the living room and two hallways.
As part of this comprehensive interior redesign, the living room and two hallways are being given a makeover
In this house, the piano had already found its place in front of the large bay window in the living room. A beautiful fireplace was already there and promised cosy winters. Two large bespoke pieces of furniture, including a TV unit and bookcase, will complement the room with a commendable aim: to harmonise with the wood of the piano. The choice of walnut veneer fulfils this role, whilst the matt white finish provides an elegant contrast.

The bespoke TV unit is bright
The TV stand and bookcase creates an immediate sense of chic the moment you see it. Once switched on, it lights up the room and makes it feel incredibly cosy. If there’s one ‘before and after’ that speaks for itself, it’s this one. You can find out more about it, as well as the design process, by clicking on the link below.
The living room unit is cosy and made to measure
On the other side of the piano, this living room unit – designed to cover the wall from floor to ceiling – is cleverly positioned against the fireplace. Featuring a bench running its entire length, it ends with a reading nook ideally situated close to the warmth of the log fire. Here too, the ‘before and after’ speaks for itself. "Fabrice, from BeHome Interiors Luxembourg, has managed to turn our ideas (and our huge storage needs) into some truly superb pieces of furniture. We’d never had bespoke furniture made for our home before, and we haven’t regretted it for a moment."

Hallways are proving to be extremely useful
This house has two separate entrances. The one on the ground floor, situated beneath a flight of stairs, was not being put to good use and was very cluttered. The one on the first floor needed some decorating as it had previously been left bare.
Unobtrusive entrance design
In this entrance hall on the ground floor of the house, which was devoid of furniture, clothes or the hoover would often be left lying about, cluttering up the floor. The design under the stairs has made it possible to make use of the previously unused space and create attractive storage solutions, as well as achieving an overall sense of harmony.
Functional entrance layout
To meet the substantial storage needs of this couple with two children, this cupboard serves both as a coat room and as a place to store various items. As it is made to measure, it makes full use of the three-metre ceiling height available in this house. It’s only right to make the most of it.
Before and After, 3D stages: the overall interior design in detail
During the site visit, our interior designer took the time to sketch out the plans with the client before turning them into 3D models and then commencing the manufacturing and construction work for this comprehensive interior design project.
