This bespoke light beige TV unit was designed, built and installed by BeHome Interiors in Geneva as part of a complete interior refurbishment of a flat. Extensive work is required to completely reimagine the entire space. We are overseeing the costing and the entire project and, prior to the fitting-out phase, have delegated the structural work to our building contractor partner. For a large wall space, a large bespoke TV stand
The client approached us to design the interior of their entire flat. When there is no shortage of space in a living room, it would be a shame not to cover an entire wall with a bespoke TV unit. The aim of this project was to provide as much storage as possible without it looking like a large cupboard. Measuring 4.20 metres wide, 2.60 metres high and 40 centimetres deep, this bespoke design – featuring attractive, illuminated recesses and a stylish area dedicated to the television – immediately won them over.

Large TV unit
In this very large living room, where white dominates from floor to ceiling, the choice of very light beige fronts for the TV unit lends the whole space a very contemporary feel. As a result, the paintings, the rug and, of course, the television stand out all the more. A bold yet carefully considered choice. The illuminated recesses add a touch of warmth and showcase every single decorative item.
Doors and drawers with or without handles?
Just three handles for such a large piece of furniture – is that really sensible? For these tall doors, it’s a choice that’s both practical and stylish, designed to make them easier to open. For the other parts of the unit, a simple push provides easy access to the contents, which are discreetly concealed. The bespoke interior layout imposes no constraints and gives the client and architect complete freedom to design and decide on every last detail.
The living room on the front side
Between the lounge and living areas, there is no partition to block the light, but instead a full-height unit encircling a central pillar to conceal it and provide additional storage. An illuminated recess acts as an architectural echo of the TV unit. The overall open-plan layout allows the generous space to be perceived as a single, cohesive whole. Our clients’ more ‘rustic’ pieces of furniture are in no way overshadowed by the contemporary design and stand out with their beautiful curves.
