Do you, too, hate those garishly coloured children’s bedroom furniture sets, with their rounded corners and chunky knobs for door handles? This bespoke walk-in wardrobe, fitted in a house near Arlon, is a fine example of how things don’t have to be that way. Listening carefully to the client, who wanted understated furniture that would remain suitable as her child grew older, BeHome Interiors Arlon came up with a walk-in wardrobe with sliding doors that combines practicality and style – and is unlikely to cause any teenage tantrums.
A gently tailored environment
This generously sized bedroom, which had been home to a baby for some time, had already been furnished and decorated in very understated pastel shades. The walls were painted in subtle shades of grey and beige, complementing the wooden floor. Our client’s wish was to retain this delicate atmosphere and avoid overdoing the colour scheme, which one quickly tires of. The sliding doors are therefore a timeless matt white, and when opened, reveal elegant and understated pastel shades at the back of the walk-in wardrobe.
