This bespoke kitchen, with its deep midnight blue fronts contrasting with stunning marble-effect surfaces, was created by our team at BeHome Interiors Brussels. The town of Uccle is steeped in history, and its many green spaces give a sense of the good life. It is undoubtedly a place of inspiration, which spurred our interior designers to give their very best.
A chic restaurant, not far from Brussels
In this beautiful house at the end of a cul-de-sac, the peace and tranquillity are a delight to see and hear, especially in the garden. Our lovely clients wanted a truly bespoke kitchen (and not a ‘semi-bespoke’ one, as they made clear to us). Although our quote was slightly higher than that of a well-known mass-production furniture chain, we managed to prioritise quality over cost. The end-to-end support provided by BeHome Interiors Brussels put their minds at ease, as did our advice, the supervision of the work and the lovely ideas for finishes… They dreamt of a fully fitted kitchen with beautiful materials. They fancied a bright blue. They wanted something chic but not flashy. Our interior designers won them over with this very minimalist design proposal, punctuated with subtle golden accents, which immediately caught their eye.
A well-equipped kitchen
Our clients made no secret of their desire to integrate the kitchen appliances subtly into this bespoke kitchen. The glass and metal surfaces of the appliances blend beautifully with the lacquered fronts, creating a range of shades, reflections and sheens that are truly elegant. The subtle touches of gold on the handles, the mixer tap and even the light fittings provide a contrast with their matt finish and create an undeniable sense of harmony.
Clean lines and subtle contrasts
This bespoke kitchen design by the team at BeHome Interiors Brussels gives the impression of being almost black and white. The deep midnight blue lacquered fronts possess a sheen and depth that subtly absorb reflections and light. The marble effect – actually a marble-effect laminate – lends softness and whiteness to the horizontal surfaces and the splashback, making the dark fronts stand out like a well-composed painting.
