The white section is made from high-density melamine-faced chipboard with a lacquer-effect finish – a highly durable material that is more affordable than lacquer and easy to maintain.

The wood-effect section is made from oiled, rustic-style real oak veneer, a material we use extensively for our bespoke furniture as it combines quality, durability and elegance, and lends itself equally well to understated designs and a touch of whimsy.

What is high-density fibreboard?
High-density fibreboard is an MDF board (made from wood fibres compressed to a medium density), which may or may not be finished with decorative veneers, and offers a very wide range of colours, materials and textures.
Wood veneer really makes an impression!
Wood veneer, as the name suggests, is wood! It is a thin sheet of wood applied to an MDF or chipboard panel. The illusion is perfect, and the quality is certainly there. The edges are finished with solid wood edging.
