This bespoke white TV unit, fitted in Lausanne in a living room that opens onto the kitchen, spans the entire height of one wall. It thus provides a veritable wall of storage, combining cupboards and bookshelves. Numerous niches allow beautiful decorative objects and art books to be displayed, elegantly brightening up the whole space. A thoughtful choice that blends in with the room, which is also predominantly white but punctuated with chic splashes of colour that give it real style.
A bespoke TV stand: square but not boxy
Once installed, this bespoke TV unit, crafted in Lausanne, could have given the impression of rigidity – an imposing block, like a monolith. But that was without taking into account our attention to the client’s needs and the thoughtfulness of our interior designers. They understood perfectly that this art-loving couple envisaged this unit not only as a TV stand but also as a display stand for their collectables and fine books.

White cabinet and black TV
The black screen, when switched off, takes pride of place at the heart of the bespoke TV unit, clad entirely in white. Once switched on, black-and-white films or colourful series will bring a touch more harmony to this room during evenings spent watching television in Lausanne. The generous storage space is discreetly concealed behind the fronts, allowing the surrounding décor to take centre stage.
Plants and décor, perfectly nestled
In a bespoke TV unit like this one, the recesses are the perfect place to showcase plants, sculptures and decorative objects. The closed cupboards surrounding it are almost unnoticeable. The height of the shelves was tailored to the number and size of the books belonging to the client from Lausanne, made possible by the bespoke design.
The TV on its stand
This bespoke unit, designed (in part) to house the TV, showcases the flat-screen without making it the centre of attention. The size of the unit, with its handle-free fronts and drawers, gives it a central position, whilst its white finish frames it like a beautiful display case. The splashes of colour from the décor, plants and books around it create a lovely harmony and prevent the look from becoming too black and white, which might otherwise have been the result.
