This bespoke TV unit in black and light wood complements the entrance hall design (see here) previously completed in this same contemporary house in Luxembourg. The long, narrow living room adjoins the entrance hall. Bright and airy, with its light-coloured wooden floor and white walls, it was the perfect setting for an imposing TV unit. Black was chosen as the dominant colour to create harmony with the entrance hall, and the striking, graphic result speaks for itself…
A TV screen built into a highly stylised, bespoke piece of furniture
Viewed from the front, this bespoke TV unit boasts a striking design in which vertical lines and horizontal planes create an irresistible visual interplay. The large television screen, mounted on the wall, takes pride of place above the long, suspended base unit. Light-coloured wooden shelves and a black lattice panel elegantly adorn the wall, creating a sense of total harmony. The finishing decorative touches – comprising figurines and objects of all kinds – almost bring the whole ensemble to life, resulting in a thoroughly contemporary design.

A lovely transition from the entrance hall to the living room
As soon as you step through the front door, the entrance hall’s design, featuring black and light wood, already makes quite an impression. An elegant atmosphere greets you as you move into the living room: the slatted screens on each piece of furniture blend together seamlessly for a smooth transition. The bespoke TV unit takes centre stage and instantly adds warmth to the room. A warm shade of black, yes (black melamine-faced chipboard, ultra-matt soft-touch lacquer), as it counteracts the cold feel that white walls can sometimes give off. Combined with the light wood, it complements the style of the parquet flooring perfectly.
Face to face with the TV stand
As you settle onto the sofa, remote control in hand, you can’t help but crack a Clint Eastwood-style smile as you take in this beautifully styled panoramic wall. The solid surfaces, the black parallel lines and the openings against the white wall of this TV unit reveal a real sense of character, much like a Saul Bass title sequence. Only a bespoke design allows for such freedom and precision to make the best use of the space it is intended for. Our interior designers certainly have the soul of an artist.
Bespoke TV stand and storage units
Functional and elegant are the hallmarks of this bespoke TV unit. At the bottom, the doors of the wall-mounted unit feature integrated handles. In the centre, the door reveals a shelf for electronic devices and a compartment for sockets and electrical cables. To the left and right are two spacious drawers, providing ample storage for a wide range of items. In the upper section, the shelves offer space for decorative items as well as books or plants.
